Logitech launched a new line-up of audio products dubbed as the ‘Ultimate Ears’ for the Indian market. The Ultimate Ears (UE) collection comprises of portable Bluetooth speakers like UE Mobile Boombox and UE Boombox, over the ears headphones UE6000 and UE 9000 and a professional Quad armature wired earphone UE 900.
Commenting on the launch, Subrotah Biswas, Director, Logitech India and South West Asia said “There’s a new category of music fans that are shifting from the traditional methods of music consumption towards services which suit their evolving lifestyles and are easily accessible through mobile devices.”
The Ultimate Ears products are available in the market and has been priced, the UE 900 at Rs. 34,995, Wireless UE 9000 with Bluetooth connectivity at Rs. 31,995, the UE 6000 with noise cancelling and onboard amp at Rs. 17,995. While the portable Mobile Boombox at Rs. 8,995 and the BoomBox featuring eight custom-tuned drivers at Rs. 21,995.
While talking to My Mobile Magazine, Biswas added that the company is only targeting Tier-1 cities that include the top five metros to sell the new Ultimate Ears series. He further added that initially Logitech will be using popular multi-products chains like Croma and Reliance Digital to sell the new series of audio products. The company will also be increasing the number of stores in phase-II.
